The Vickers VC10 is a narrow-body, medium haul aircraft manufactured by British company Vickers-Armstrong in the 1960's primarily designed to serve the BOAC's Europe to Africa routes. As such, the sleek aircraft is capeable of taking off on short, high altitude and hot runways, meaning it has performance rivaled by few other commercial aircraft, including a very fast cruise speed (up to Mach .94). Now, the aircraft is available for all versions of FSX and Prepar3D, as the team at Just Flight have released their long-awaited version of the aircraft.
The Just Flight variant models the model 1101, the standard BOAC aircraft, although they've said they intend on updating it at a later date to include RAF models, among other things. It features many comprehensive but easy to use systems, including full engine starts, navigation and autopilot systems. The Just Flight VC10 sits between Just Flight's F-Lite (highly detailed but simplified systems) and Professional (study sim, complex systems) product ranges, although they've said they intend on updating it at a later date to fit in with the Professional product range. The model now does also include the Rolls-Royce Conway engines modeled in detail, as well as a detailed flight model.
The Just Flight VC10 can be picked up from the Just Flight store for $37.99.
